Bonnaroo is next week and Firefly is the following weekend, not to mention everything happening after the month of June. It can be hard to look put together, especially in 100+ degree heat where showers are hard to come by and you’re living out of a tent for five days. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not one of those girls that feel comfortable going “all natural”. If you are, applause for you. I like to have a least SOME type of makeup on even if it’s hardly noticeable. It makes me feel better about myself and what looks better than confidence? Nothing. Here’s a list of things that I NEED to have in my go-to bag for getting ready each day.
This awesome lil guy is a sunscreen SPF 15 and it’s tinted, so it provides great coverage for an even skin tone without being heavy at all. You can apply it without a mirror, just like regular sunscreen. It also smooths out your skin and tightens pores.
Pressed powder is awesome for when you’re sweating to death and need to stop the shine.
Norvell sunless tanner is something I recommend using BEFORE. It provides a glow without subjecting yourself to harmful UV rays. It’s the best sunless tanner that I’ve used and beats the pants off of the drugstore versions.
Simple, quick, makes your eyes pop without taking over a minute to apply and it isn’t waterproof so you can easily wipe it off at night or before swimming.
Little towels are perfect for makeup removing but also serve as a way to refresh yourself in between showers. They’re great at getting off grime without leaving any residue.
My favorite toothpaste hands down. If you’re feeling gross and dirty, perk yourself up with a quick brushing.
Dry shampoo. Now my hair doesn’t get oily very quickly but if yours does (or if you just want a refresher) use this. It’s smell is amazing and leaves hair feeling airy and *almost* like you just washed it.
This lip balm is awesome. I’m a sucker for cute packaging but it really makes my lips smooth. It also comes in other colors and flavors.
NYC color wheel in Bronze is perfect for adding some color to your collarbone and face.
I usually use the “girly” deodorant but let’s face it….you need something that will actually last.
All of these things aside from the Norvell self tanner can be found at your local drugstore and for under $12. The tanner is $24. Happy camping!
